I don't believe it was even COPS was it? I thought it used Sensi... either way, they are NOT eyes.

yeah you were right it was sensi not cops. Even though i like dm`s better... get the 05 speed and use the money you saved to get an adjustable tank... |

Personally, if I were to buy an Angel, it would be the Force Fly. The Speeds that I have been around have had some chopping problems. Why are you so hung up on Angels? Have you played with them before?

^^ Thats cool... you must be drawn to the marker. IMO, the Matrix, specifically the DM4/5 shoot much smoother, with better accuracy and with just as much speed. The eye system is incredible and you will rarely, if ever chop paint. My suggestion is to hang out at the local field and look for all types of markers to "borrow." Even if only at the chrono range. Don't fall for the "simulate" modes... almost every marker will bounce/ramp and make you feel like a god when not shooting paint. Shoot them with paint and concentrate on how each one feels and fits your style. You are talking about spending a bunch of cash, do as much research as possible. Asking here is great, but opinions are like... well you know. |

Listen to Rico; good advice.
But back to the 05 speed VS fly differences: 05 speed is lighter 05 speed has a 9V battery source, not a proprietary rechargable Fly has an LCD, 05 speed uses LED (i.e. 05 speed doesn't have the useless multi modes) Fly comes with volumizer, 05 speed doesn't 05 speed uses new trigger frame and trigger (magnetized return) and return strength cannot be adjusted without modifications Similarities: 05 speed and fly internals are the same 05 speed and fly eyes are the same Rico is correct with the DM4/5 firing behavior, and it is indeed extremely soft on paint. The only downfall I see with the dm4 is efficiency (I'm lazy and rather have not have to visit the fill station too often) and cold climate (gun may experience pressure loss and require relubrication). As for rate of fire, all three guns above are the same. However, trigger preference will play heavily on how fast you shoot. Edited by reticule |

If you're looking in the price range of the 05 Speed, you might want
to check out the Proto Matrix. Pretty much a lighter, economy version of the DM4. It's $950, and it's a really good buy. |

The difference between the 2 are the following: Speed has a Magnetic Trigger with new Opto Sensor There are ofhter smaller differences but they do not affect performance. The Speed is basicly a Fly, but with a few better features.
