NO2 question

AI'm thinking about upgrading for co2 to no2 for my upcoming tourny in late summer  but i don't want to have to buy the low pressure system and the tank do you need to get the low pressure system if your geting a high pressure no2 tank becasie i know they make low and high pressure tanks

It will work with just the tank but i dod recommend atlast getting a reg.

Yea, just a simple preset hgh output tank at 800 psi (the Tippmanns operating pressure) would be great for your gun.

There are three numbers that have to do with HPA (High Pressure Air)/nitro/nitrogen/compressed air (same thing) tanks. The first is the pressure that you have seen. The 3000, 4500, and 5000 psi are the capacity of the tank itself. The higher the pressure, the more air is compressed in to the tank. There is also the cubic inch rating, as in 45ci, 68ci, or 81ci. That is the size of the tank in cubic inches. The larger the number the bigger the tank and the more air it holds. You look at both numbers to get an idea of how many shots you will get. Multiply the ci by ten for a 3000psi tank, by 15 for a 4500, and IIRC 17 for a 5000psi tank. The number that has been recommended to you 800-850 is the output pressure of the built in regulator. All HPA tanks have a regulator to reduce the 3000, 4500, or 5000 psi inside the tank to a safer 800ish, or for some special low pressure tanks, about 400. You need a normal 800ish output pressure HPA tank for your Tippmann.

i have a 98c and i wanted to know if i could get an hpa tank and use it without upgrading anything? and what would it cost to get an hpa tank that would work good for my gun?

You'll want a preset tank with output pressure of around 800psi.
