Its a 2 way street

Ok, so in this country we discourage raceinm right? But its everywhere! And its in the groops that cry raceist the most! Why is it their is a tv network for black music artist only... If I went and made one for whites only, I'd have a massive law suite on my hands, protests in my front yard, and racail slurs thrown at me! What the hell?The one that really gets me though. A black person can call anoth black person (forgive me for the use of this word) a **edited**er, but if a white guy does it, its a racist remark and he gets his butt kicked. Can someone explain this to me? Its just as degradeing, has the same meaning, doesn't matter if its a black guy or a white guy saying it. Does this piss off anyone ealse?

Yes, it bugs me quite alot actually. It's a big issue here too with first nations issues. They ask for equality, but then ask for further rights, resulting in even more diversity. Rather than equality, they are pursuing superiority.

I say, if they want equality, everyone must follow the same laws, same bylaws, same social conduct. No special rules, nothing. Everyone exactly the same. Isn't that what equality is?

  I was flipping through channels when I came across a buch of black people talking about the "Big N word".  One guy sugested that only blacks could say it because they were enslaved for years, and that they deserve a word that was only thiers. 

  It's stupid.  I always love to see a black guy that, even though most of his friends are black, he stands up and says something when crap like that happens.  In the situation I am talking about, a white guy said that Barry Bonds was on 'roids (this was before we KNEW he was on them).  Anyway, the black guys said that he was just being racist, but the one I was talking about stood up and told them that it was obvious that he was doin it and that they were just being racist against the white guy.

  I laughed so hard that I almost fell outa my chair.

It's called the rest of the channels. Black people can call eachother that because they're both black. It's the way they greet eachother, they don't say it to be racist, that's what white people use it for. Just like if I called you a honkey, you probably would not care. It becomes racism when you say it to someone not of your race.

 No! just No.  EVERY music channel has at least 1 (but mostly more) Hip-hop shows that are almost all black artists.  What you said about the N word is just stupid, and I don't care if someone calls me a honkey.

Any one live in Arlington or Marysville? I hear trouble their with racism is going up. I guess new ethnic groop are coming in and theirs trouble all over the bord.

My Dad was offered the position of director of security for Marysville about 4 years ago. Turned it down for that reason. He stayed in touch with the guy who got the job until he quit after the teacher strikes (During the strikes, he had to escort the PR Rep from Lynnwood to Marysville cuz of death threats. That whole ordeal was screwed up beyond beleife. He couldn't take it after that and quit)

BET plays eminem, they also have great movies, like Poetic Justice, Love Come Down, Love & Basketball, and may more, I frequently watch the movies myself.
