glocks are less expensive than barettas. check their sites, barettas go for 800-900 new while glocks are typically in the 400 dollar area |

$100-$500
if its something important like a pistol, then that is something i wouldnt; skimp out on. Spend the extra and go for a Sig, a CZ, or an FN. Or go old reliable and get a Colt 1911 |

What is this for again? CC, Home Protection, drive-bys, or plinking? As an owner of one, a 1911 is too much pistol for all of the above.

Don't go glock. My girlfriends father is a gunsmith and says that they've got more problems with glocks than with any other maker. Baretta is nice, and Kimber makes some good pistols too. |

For 100-400 your not gettin an auto matic unless you get a glock, id go with a ruger .357 revolver.

revolver. colt python. 357 magnum. ive seen them run for 500 for the base model. nothing more reliable than a revolver. i love them!
