Out of the Karnivor or Proto Matrix what do you guys perfer. I'm looking into a tournament gun me since my R/t can't compete in some of them. I was looking at some dyes and bob longs and angels etc. I do not like the gun companies that come out with more updated ones every year with years (example an angel 06 and angel 05 speed) b/c the next year i would feel like crap lol. I was looking at either Dye Proto Matrix or the WGP Karnivor autococker. Which one out of these two would you perfer? Thanks for your advice and if you know any others in that price range that would be good for me let me know, thanks!

Keep in mind that nearly every company releases a new version of thier guns each year. So, if you buy a PM6 now, you'll feel like crap next year when they release the PM7. Get over it. I'm an Angel freak. I love those things, and Speeds and Fly's are cheap now. Or, you could go for a DM4 or maybe even a DM5 if you get lucky and find a cheap used one. Out of your two desires, Proto for sure. Cockers just don't tickle me right. |

I'd say Timmy or Angel, neither on your list. But Protos have new ones
every year now and I'm pretty sure karnis do to. But between them, a
proto.

Hahahahahaha, looking at advertisements are we. It's all in the barrel, a gun isn't really more accurate then the other, unless if we're talking stock barrels. |

Of your choices? I'd go with a Karnivor. I think they look and feel nicer than Matrices
However, it doesn't matter what we think. Try out each marker yourself, see what you like. Either marker will get the job done. |

Buying into blowback propaganda, are we? OF COURSE some guns are more accurate than others. Some guns do a better job of delivering consistent air to the ball, which results in each shot being more like the one before. Ever wonder why, when you chrono with your Tippmann, you get a swing of 10fps from shot to shot? That's inconsistency. With an Angel or an Autococker, for instance, you might get 3fps variation. That means more consistency, which means better accuracy. This is why people buy expensive air tanks, upgraded regulators, and a bunch of other consistency upgrades. Paint is important, barrel is important, but so is the gun. |

I love cockers, but e-cockers just seem like something Dr. Evil would invent - "e" and "cocker" don't belong together, IMO. But then I'm pretty old-fashioned, and I like my mech guns.
