C3 problems

i finaly got my C3, and i went out to shoot it. i turned the velocity all the way up, but yet the gun shot a little lousy. since the gun was brand new i thought it mite need oil. so i removed the end cap and the velocity screw and the piston, and i oiled it up, [not much oil, but enough] so i put it all back together and tryed to shoot it. all it did was make a buzzing noise by the pump, it's a brass colored thingy, sorry, the guns new to me, i don't know the names to all the parts. well anyways, the gun didn't fire. is it the oil?...

My C3 takes about 10 pump strokes after screwing on the propane tank to prime up and start firing.

I would check that first, make sure youre not just trying to shoot it immediately and getting mad when it doesnt work. Just keep pumping and trying to fire until it gets going.

If it still wont fire read the manual on adjusting the regulator pressure. Mine needed tuned out of the box.

Well turning your velocity 'all the way up' on any gun is going to make it shoot terribly. Too much velocity will make any paintball in any gun go off on a wild tanget. On top of that its really dangerous. Get it chronoed properly under the safe limit of 300 feet per second. And if your unsure or uncomfortable about adjusting and setting the velocity, I highly reccomending taking it to a shop or to someone who knows what they are doing. There should be a section in the owners manual about adjusting the velocity. Stay safe...
