Velocity >250

Hey, just recentlygot an A-5 with response trigger and since ive had it I haven't been able to adjust the velocity on the gun to shoot any more than 250 really. I'm not sure what could be causing these problems but I have taken my gun apart and put it back together and didn't see any paint or debris around the bolt or the cyclone feed or in the ASA. I've only used it, and the air tank twice so far so is there the possibility that it needs to be 'broken in'?

I have messed with my velocity screw from all the way in to all the way out and it wont go above 250, I have tried other air sources and it doesn't have any effect different barrels/balls same thing. Really the only thing that I could think of was that it simply needed to be broken in a little bit more since, as I said, it's only been used twice. Anyone else have any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks.

Would getting a RVA help in any way with my velocity?

I was talking to a couple of people, about this just last week they both had to have the rachet replaced. One of them it was nearly new, the other one fired about 6000 rounds through it. They siad it it can happen any time. As for volocity, do you have a stock on, one of the two but on a stock last year that was plastic and he cuold'nt raise his above 250. If you do, try taking the stock off, and running just the back plate.
