tipman 98 custom

hi, im new to paintballing and im just woundering if the tipman 98 custom can be automatic or is it only semi-automatic?

what do i need to put in the gun to make it automatic?

sorry guys but im new to this stuff...what is a r/t?

im thinking of putting a m4 barrel kit into the tippmann 98 custom. would it make it a better gun? or should i just buy seperate parts and add them on?

don't buy any junk to make it look like a real gun unless you ONLY want it to look like a real gun.  Unless you put a high quality barrel inside the m4 handguard etc. the gun will be just as crappy as it would be stock.  The only way to have true full automatic fire is with an E-grip.

things you must know:

1.) E-grip isn't cheap

2.) Full auto fire is illegal on most fields, so ask the field you'll be playing at befor you buy somthing that is useless to you.

3.) Without a fast hopper (which can also get expensive) the gun will simply break balls inside the chamber, so upgrade to a cyclone or an electronic hopper unless you plan on setting the full auto setting to 6-7 balls per second (which is a speed easily maintained on a stock mechanical semi-auto tippmann anyways.)

Instead of worrying about paintball upgrades, I would suggest that you invest in some english classes. They will help you more in the long-run anyways.

Its just really stressful here...deadlines and such.

 No need to make gun full auto. Semi is olny allowed at fields anyway. Geta bigger c02 tank and maybe a barrel. 10" Lapco Bigshot is aswome. Try to play a bit to realy find out what you need, Not what people say.
