So its prom time again

So, since it's prom time again, suit or tux? Which do you wear?

Suit looks timeless and classy. Theme your button up and tie to your date's dress. Find out which color dress she is wearing. Choose a tie that matches it in either color or general appearance. Then choose a nice button-down dress shirt that compliments that color well.

That process works every time, plus you get an excuse to buy a new tie and shirt. Cannot really have enough of them.





To me, tuxedos always looks like cheesy rentals. Always.



For God's sake don't wear a collarless shirt again.

When you have a chance to wear a bow tie, you wear a bow tie.

Everyone wears suits at my school, lame.

im doing a suit again.  i cant justify spending $100+ to wear someone elses clothes for a few hours, then give them back, especially for a highschool dance, and doubly especially when a have a nice suit of my own to wear. 

last year at prom, i told my then gf that i wasnt going to wear a tux to prom, she said it was ok.  then a couple days before prom she said "when you said you werent wearing a tux, you were kidding, right?"
when i told her i was serious, she said something about how im going to be the only one there who isnt in a tux and that i will stand out, like that was a bad thing.

I just bough a new suit for c ruise I'm going on in the near future, and I must say, I look dashing. First time I have ever thought I looked descent in anything formal.

I did. Class of '07 graduate in '06. But they allow early graduates to go to prom.

DD214 for knee cap out of place, they would not let me complete basic, so I spent 12 weeks there for nothing. Not really something I wanted to readily announce to the forum because people will be like "Oh you quit!" but since i was asked. I don't like being labeled a quiter when I hate no say in the matter.


And TKD, trust me, no more collarless.. its a button down with a tie I just bought yesterday. Matches her dress.
