Murder?

If you throw a bucket of water on a bum during the winter and he freezes to death, is that considered murder?

Well I didn't.  Yet.

During the winter, the homeless from the surrounding neighborhood sometimes try and sleep by the door in our stairwell for warmth.  I personally haven't seen this situation yet, but I'm not exactly sure how I would rid of them.  I don't want to have to force the bum out, for the possibility of getting shanked is far too great.  However, a nice bucket of water will definitely do the trick, IMO.

Let the man sleep with some warmth.

and im pretty sure soaking a homeless man when its winter would more likely get u shanked.

Well, it isn't as fun. 

Water is definitely not the right thing... I'm thinking that flour would be better.  Haha!  He would look like a homeless ghost!

Well if you looking for fun, have him and his buddy fight to the death for some crack.

Definitely the wrong thing to do, homeless are like animals, and they will be back, every day, in the same spot, for food. And if they come back to that spot cracked out you could have yourself a little problem. Not sure how to get rid of him though, because you are kind of in the same situation of him returning-it's still not as bad as giving him food though, because then he is going to come to your house expecting something, and if you don't have anything to give him that day and he just smoked rock, it's not going to end too good.

Point a gun in his face and tell him to find a new place to sleep. I bet it works, as long as he's sober.

Why on earth would you want t torture homeless people trying to survive?  I'd give the man a damn meal.

Legally the best thing for you to do is call the cops and report that you have a vagrant sleeping on private property. They'll take him in, get him cleaned up, provide him with clean clothes and a warm meal and a warm cell to sleep in for the night. We had a homeless guy back home that the police picked up on regularly scheduled days (about 4x a year). They'd take him to the station, get him all cleaned up, get him a check-up and give him some new clean clothes from the lost-and-found locker and then send him on his way.
