Hello, I need to get inside the valve on a model 98? It's not on the owner's manuel I practically read the whole thing, and the schematic in the manuel wasnt very helpful in opening up the valve itself. Any help would be great. Thanks. |

you'll need to remove the valve from the power-tube body by removing the assembly from the receiver. Then remove the gas-line and the velocity screw. Finally, take a wooden dowel and place it down the power-tube and use it to push the valve out of the power-tube body.
Once the valve is out, you will see that taking it apart is as easy as removing a C-clip from the front of the valve. Everything then slides out. Be careful to catalog what order everything comes out so you can put it back together properly. |
