this is an honest and legitimate question. today in political science some
 made some stupid comment "well of course free health care works for canada, it always works when its not being applied in an actual country"to which the professor replied-"yes, thats true, canada really isn't a country" so tell me, what the hell is Canada? btw-i did a facepalm when i heard that |

The prof was probably referring to the fact that Canada is technically a commonwealth of the UK, much like Scotland and N. Ireland, it has it's own autonomy and it's own parliament, but the head of state is still the queen. But for all intents and purposes it is a sovereign nation which exercises autonomy even though it is technically a British protectorate/mandate. Sure, it's a technicality, but the prof is a farking hoser none the less. |
