Topic: A5 Internals Wont Come OutPosted: 04 January 2009 at 12:54am |

I just bought an A5 a couple weeks ago and played for the first time yesterday. I heard that it's good to strip the gun down and clean out and oil the internals after every day of play. I took all the push pins out, and the two allen key screws in the front. After removing the handle/trigger and the tombstone latch I went to pop the back cover off and take out the internals but only the first powertube came out. The other one was jammed and even when I pulled on it, it wouldn't move. I tried tightening the velocity screw more, but that did nothing. Is there something I'm missing to remove the other powertube(s)? Thanks.

You should be able to slide the internals out of the back of the marker
after removing the endcap, grip and tombstone adapter. If not, then
loosen the screws mentioned above.

I think I might have missed the allen screws by the rear sight. I'll try that now. *I tried it and everything came out fine. Thanks! Edited by sixstringzz - 04 January 2009 at 1:43pm |

Falsonstar, starting your own thread in this forum will get many more responses, and help you more.
Is it the stock barrel or an aftermarket barrel? If it's aftermarket it must have A-5 threads to fit. Edited by K Hop - 31 January 2009 at 9:04am |

dont forget to turn the velocity screw in all the way, it will keep the bolts and valve from moving entirely if its out too far.
its spyder threaded he said in another Topic... dont try to put spyder threaded barrels on non spyder threaded guns. Edited by ctchofday - 31 January 2009 at 11:26pm |
