When it comes time to finally ditch the hand-me-down dishware that mom and dad passed off to you for your college apartment, I highly suggest you invest in some Homer Laughlin Fiesta Ware. This stuff really and truly is the greatest. I convinced Erin to let me register for it for our wedding and we haven't been sorry yet!

For one thing, it's been in production since the dinosaurs roamed the earth, so you'll never have to worry about not being able to get it. Secondly, most of the colors will match up and compliment each other within the same tone-range, so mixing and matching is no big deal. Finally, they used to use Uranium oxide in their red and orange fiesta ware glazes, so if you get a hold of some of the older stuff, it'll glow under a black-light (but is perfectly safe to eat off of). Stuff's durable too, we've yet to break a dish.

Anyway, it's the shizzle, you should buy it, or register for it, or whatever.

I can't tell if this post was really gay or not, so I'm going to go cut down a tree. Just to be safe.

The proper response when your significant other mentions what kind of dishware you want is...

Whatever...

Dude really? Here is a true tip. If it is INside the house, let her decide. If it is the garage or basement. It's all you.

Man, you sound like a cook or something...

I'm not sure that's enough. We better go kill a bear to really cover our behinds.

I've just been really impressed with the stuff. I remembered how many sets of crap dinnerware I went through when I moved out on my own and thought I'd just save some of the guys here some money. That's all.

In all seriousness, I respect you and your opinions enough that I read everything you have to say about anything.

The chance for a joke was just too tempting in this case.

SSOK,

Erin is reading "Metro 2033" By Dmitry Glukhovsky

I just finished reading "ICBM" by G. Harry Stein and am now reading "Wasteland: Tales from the apocalypse" while waiting for "Moscow 2042" by Vladimir Vonovich to get transfered to my local wing of the Fairfax County Public Library.
