how about a paintball mortar? it could be like a cannon that shoots out a large paintball bomb that comes down and splatters people and the splatter counts as a hit Edited by Paintball Grunt |

why did you underline mortar, then italicize bomb? oh, um...yeah, no. That wouldn't work. Besides, its would be dangerous...id still play with it if i had one though. |

Yeah, they have mortars for the scenarios at my local field, but they suck at them and end up hitting their own guys.

Mortars are fun
- real ones, I mean. As
for a paintball mortar? Hard to get one that would work effectively.
Perhaps firing up a paper or cardboard canister that would spill a
bunch of brittle paintballs as it falls would work... You'd get an area
effect similar to the blast radius of an actual HE mortar shell. Tough
build a launcher and dispersal system that will work too reliably,
though. Probably the best bet would be to get one of those water
balloon launchers that'll throw a water balloon several hundred feet,
and load it with a bunch of paintballs. Realistically, though,
paintball mortars will probably never be that effective, since they'd
be too hard to reliably aim. At least with a real one you can mount it
on something that helps to aim it precisely... |

i made one. its a basic potato launcher, but i have cardboard
disks that go in before the paintballs, which is about 1-15 wrapped up
in a paper towel. the paper towel always either breaks apart or
falls open, allowing for a more spread out target area. its
fairly acurate up to about 150 yds, if you know how to arc it.
