How many balls per game??

I know that there is some variability and subjectivity but hear goes.

In an average woodsball game how many balls does one go through on average (per game)?  One would think that as someone gets to be a better and more experienced they would become more efficient with their paint.  They would spend more time positioning ones self for high percentage shots than wasting paint on shots that have little or no chance of a kill.  Would you say 300 balls?  More? Less?

It really depends... Some peope will shoot a lot, some people will shoot hardly any. When I play woods (which isn't a lot), I usually go through roughly 350 or so.

I usually go through around a hopper at most....but I play more of save my balls in both instances so I don't like freak fire or just waste my balls.  Basically in woodsball u dont use alot of paintballs.....

in a game against 4-5 people probly 110ish  6-8 140ish 9-12 180ish,

these are estimants, probly more then i actually use, cuz i wait and pick my shots...

I've had scenario games where I've shot 2 cases in an hour (8,000 rounds).  I've also had games where I haven't shot one ball.  It all depends on what you have for a marker and what your playing style is.  In a normal game I carry 1,000 rounds in my vest at the start of each game.

That's basically me, but if its a game with alot of people I'll load up my 5+4 just in case....I'm also usually the supplier of the team in woods and speed.

• My average is about 200 rounds
• Most I ever went through in a single game was 530 (all I usually carry
• Least (in a game I made it all the way through) was 2--No, I wasn't "sniping"; I worked my way up a streambed to take out a guy was spraying tons of paint and holding down my team
• I surprised and eliminated the guy who was protecting his flank with my first shot
• Then I got on the "sprayers" flank and popped him in the head with my second shot
• The rest of his team got steamrolled by 6 guys off my team that came through the hole I opened and hit them from the side (it happened so quick I didn't have time to do anything but watch)

Playing a game of woodsball, say, 8 vs 8, if the game lasts about 10-15 mins each round, then i would say that per round you'd b using around 100 balls or less if you're firing a semi auto constantly.  I've played for 2 hours and fired less than 300 balls, i was upset that i bought the last hundred because i had to waste them firing at random stuff because we were being kicked off the field.  300 balls can go a lot way if you only shoot at what you can hit, or if you know how to supress without firing too quickly.
