I recommend the cyclone, it keeps up with the responce trigger and it doesn't require batteries.  and all you need is a banjo or "T" fitting and your ready to go.
what?

The cyclone does not keep up very well with the r/t. I would buy an electric hopper, ricochet apache. I have one, I love it. It will keep up with your r/t. Plus, you can use it on a different gun if you need to.

The banjo "T" fitting can be purchased through tippmann. Call them up and get it.

Go with the viewloader Evolution 2, its in your price range, its reliable and it is fast enough to keep up with most high end markers should you decide to invest in one.

If you decide to go for an electric hopper, then the Evo II is an excellent choice. It's fast, durable and much more cost effective than a halo. I believe that it's rated to 17 bps with the stock Y board, and 23 bps if you upgrade. Both those feed rates are probably faster than you'd need anyway.

As for the cyclone, it doesn't use batteries, it's more durable (feed necks and lids snap more often than a cyclone breaks in my experience), it's a little less expensive to begin with and even more so after a bit of use, 9 volts can add up pretty fast, and I think that it will be able to handle an R/T. And you can always speed it up with a QEV to 22 bps.

So:

          Evo II         &nbs p;          Cyclone

Price:  67.99(+ batts)             64.99

Speed: 17bps         & nbsp;            15bps

Up speed: 23 bps         &nb sp;       22bps

Can be used on other guns     Permanent upgrade

Just to alert everyone, "Gun maintenace and repair" is misspelled.

What Klause said ^^^^

I'm not as technical as everyone else, but the question is:
What are you gonna be doing with the response trigger?
For instance, my friend tunes it up all the way and has fun at over 15BPS and turning it into a blender.  But hey, its not that bad.  He has a EmpireII, and its alright, I think it handles 13-15 at $50, which isn't bad.  However, if you're gonna turn it up all the way then I'd get a electro, because then you can also use it on another gun.  I'd recommend the eVLution II, http://www.discountpaintball.com/product_info.php?cPath=34_1 76&products_id=399

But, if you're just looking to keep your gun a simple, fun woodsball gun and not blast the RT I'd get the cyclone, its made by tippmann, u get the T fitting for free, it requires very little maintenance, its only 60 bux at a-1paintball.com, and its dependable.

Do you have HPA?

I forgot to mention one drawback to the cyclone: the size and position. With a regular hopper, you can angle the gun to the side and hide the hopper behind a bunker (At least vert feeds, a little more tricky with a 98). A cyclone is twice as big a target as the EVO II, and when you pop out of a bunker on the right side, there's nothing you can do about the huge target. Popping out on the left is a little better, but it's harder to aim with the hopper obscuring your vision, and really hard if you're righty. However these only really matter if you're playing speedball, when you're in close quarters where the target profile of a hopper can mean the difference between an entire game. In woodsball it doesn't matter as much.
