energy drinks

my sister recently got a tab energy drink from the coke guys handing out samples on campus and i was wondering if anyone here has tried any of the energy drinks, im sure some of you have.....whats your favorite? whats it taste like? how long does the rush last? are you really groggy after the effect wears off? any carcinegins in them? any comments are appreciated.....ive never drank any before, just wondering what you all think of them

energy drinks don't affect me. i've been drinking coffee since i was 7. so my caffeine tolerance is high. Monster Assault is the best tasting energy drink. and of the new hybrid soda/energy drinks just comparing MDX and Vault, Vault tastes better. again, i can't speak to their effectiveness as energy boosters.

meh... energy drinks are all a sham.  the caffeine in them doesn't give you energy ... it blocks the sleep receptors in your brain.  so even if you are tired, your mind doesn't feel it.  the drinks usually have a good amount of B vitamins in them.  if i remember correctly, those vitamins help in digestion a lot.  so that's where you get the energy from.  if you just rely on the drinks to get a boost... you're not gonna get it.  you need to drink em while/after you eat so that the stuff in the energy drink can break down the food and give you energy. 

personally... taste wise i like red bull and bawls. 

I had that stuff that Coke was giving out, it was called Full Throttle, I had over 100 cans of that stuff, and I sold it all, making good money.

but how long does the rush last? are any of you groggy afterward?

Energy drinks don't do it for me. Be careful if you're not caffeine tolerant though-they have a tendency to accelerate your heartbeat. That's really the only thing they do for me-then again, I drink coffe and usually two to four sodas a day, so an energy drink probably isn't going to do much for me in the energy department.

Original Monster and Vodka. Nothing beats it.
