This may disturb a few of you, but it's an honest question.

I do a lot of running, and in the heat I naturally sweat a fair bit- particularly in the groin/butt region. It's at the point now where natural hair growth is starting to chaff me on long runs- I just did a 15km, and my buttcrack feels on fire. I'm giving serious though to shaving of the crotch and buttcrack, but I figure there have to be a few people on here who do it regularly and can give me advice about what to/not to do. I don't want any unpleasant surprises like colossal razor burn on my taint or any such.

If any of your hairless wonders can give me some tips based on experience I'd appreciate it. I take my running rpetty seriously, but a chaffed scrotum is no fun. Also, let's please not have more than one or two links to the Phillips 'shave everywhere' site, please.

15km is what, about 10 miles?

I'm thinking use an electric shaver, not too too close. Leave enough for it to not be stubbly/sharp.

yea, just use some baby powder, put it on before you go and after you get back, unless your going right into a shower after running

A bit shy of ten miles, yeah.

I use foot powder anyway, but it just doesn't do the job on the long runs. It's fine for eight or ten KM, but beyond that it just isn't enough, and I'm up to running half marathons on occasion.

If your going to shave all of it instead of trimming, As scary as it might seem I advise a straight razor, it wont leave any stubby sharp poky things, just for the love of god, dont sneeze or caugh or somthing...

After i go skateboarding and sweat a bunch, at the end of the day when i shower, there's like fuzz from my jeans all over my balls, gooch, ass hair.

I do wear boxers, that's the weird thing.

Idk if its fuzz from my boxers or jeans...but the fuzz is generally blue

its not that big of a problem, as i take a shower if i sweat anyway
