So apparently Chuck Norris has came out and made a public statement saying that the bible should be taught in all schools. He figures we get to learn about Nazi's why not god.

I'm a pretty devout christian and I really disagree with him.  It is 100% true that you can't prove the existance of God, so why teach it in school?  Things about the bible already get covered in most history classes while learning about the French, British, and Romans.

I say we get back to the basics in schools and stop the frustrating cycle of
cranking out functionally illiterate "graduates" who are only prepared for
asking "would you like fries with your order" and living in their parents
basements.

The rest of the world is kicking our butts in education and overtaking us
economically.

Enough with the flipping social experiments!

Oh that will go over well. Since everyone belives in god. Try teaching a buddist,jew,satanist,muslim,hindu and jahova whitness about the christan/catholic/mormon bible, that wont cause any controversy.

Chuck norris stuff is lame and old. WTR was a crappy show. If we are going to start respecting caractors from lame TV shows what about the Duke boys? Lucy? blah blah blah
