Witch one is best? I want the one that is the best barrel for cheap paint? I want the the one that can handle all types of paint! Deal with a break and still shoot straight, and is also easy to clean!

Get a J&J. They are awesome barrels. I did find that Elite's are too big for the barrel so they break. If you avoid that paint, the J&J is the way to go.

It will not shoot farther than the J&J, they have the same range.

I've played with them both, and I'd have to say the Bigshot is slightly more accurate. Go with it.

I've got a JnJ, and I quite like it. It's good enought to where I don't want to spend another $50 on a Lapco.

Whenever I play, I use my Bigshot over my Flatline.

I love the Bigshot. Most accurate thing I've ever seen. Works well even with old paint, and it's always clean.

Now, what do you mean "Effective Range"?

I tend to think of effective range as the range at which you could expect a paintball hitting someone on the body, and having a greater than 50% chance of breaking.

If you're talking accuracy, that's a bit difficult since we are essentially shooting a cone that widens and contracts from batch of paint to batch of paint, and depends on when you're cutting off the cone as being too inaccurate.

Care to explain what you mean by that?

Physics tells us 2 balls shot at the same velocity will go the same distance, no matter what barrel is used. So I hope thats not what your talking about.

If your talking about the range at when it will break, Both paintballs will be going the same speed at a given time, so that doesnt work either.

i mean the range  that you could point the marker directly at someone and hit them in 1-2 shots.

that means in an open field and the person is not moving.

In that case... Every barrels "effective range" is the same.

Except for the flatline and apex.

nope

my stock barrel might only be able to hit someone at 100 ft where a freak might hit 125-150 (within 1-2 shots)

no extra range just more accurate.

Does anyone have or used both barrels? I don't care about range. I just want to know why one would be better than the other. my main reason is i'm sick of getting barrel break's in my werk's! I know barrel breaks will always happen. I also know better paint to barrel match will help this problem. But other than what wal-mart or D's sporting good's has to offer i'm out of luck! I just want to know which one is better for the paint I have access to. Also can anyone give me J&J's website?

Thats mostly paint to barrel match.

And yes, I have used them both. My brother has the J&J, I have the bigshot. We both agree mines slightly more accurate.

That's up to you! Not possible to say! All paint is different! Also not possible! A dirty barrel is a dirty barrel!

That is not alwas true. If you compare the flatline or Apex barrel to a standard straight barrel, and shoot them both at the same velocity, they will not both go the same distance. The flatline or Apex barrel will surpass the distance.

I'd go for the Snapshot because it's a kit, and with a kit you can shoot pretty much anything.
