Havent had a giveaway on here for a while. So lets play a game!
The goal: Stump me on any mechanical or engineering question. The first person to do it wins a 1GB PNY USB2.0 memory stick thingy. The memory stick is thoughfully loaded with a bunch of old forum images, sigs, pictures, and other neat stuff. Sorry, no copyright-infringing goodies! The rules for you: It has to be a vaguely mechanical or engineering question. No "Whats in my pockets", no "Who hit 5 home runs in the world series" stuff. Anything goes, use whatever resources you have, including the interwebs. As for math stuff, if you ask me to calculate some ungodly thing, and I can produce the formula to calculate it, I win. Sorry, Im not doing 3 hours of math to answer someones question. The rules for me: Im disallowing myself from using google or any websites to look up answers. Obviously this is an honor-system thing, but anyone who doesnt trust me to play fair probably has issues with the 4 stars by my name. However, any other material goes for me, including books and asking people I know. Im also imposing a 1 day limit on any answer on my part, so if I cant answer a question in 24 hours time, that person wins. If I answer a question, and you know my answer is wrong and can prove it, you (The provee) win! Have at it. |

Cast aluminum is too porous. Or rather I should say, low-cost cast aluminum like the 98C body wont. An alloy with a higher concentration of aluminum would work better (But still difficult) |

If I remember rightly: One circulates water into the reactor itself, which boils into steam. One circulates a seperate water circuit into the reactor, then uses a boiler to boil a seperate circuit of water to produce the steam. |
