hey just wandering has more americans died in Afganistan or more Canadians im a canadian and so far 8 or more canadians died so far but what about americans?

acualy u would be surprised canadians have the best tanks in the world we have m16s and m4 assault rifles ,helicopters and we have health care lol o ya and for some reason american soldiers only have a bullet proof plate on there back i dont no why but judging by Black hawk down its so when there running away they dont get shot in the back but us canadians we have a front and back plate so maybe thats why we have less casualties

We have less people but better training from what I've heard. We don't streamline our people straight to over the sea.

Training at a base is no substitute for the real thing. Sorry but no country has more combat experience as a whole then the US.

Hmm I'd be impressed if we whernt the ones who invented the M16, and we have M4's and I dont know what tanks you guys got but good luck against an M1A1 Abrahms Tank... As to our battle armor I dont know much about what they're using now, but they're testing armor called dragon skin and its the best in the world, covers front and back and can take many many direct hits by even  7.62, 9mm, 5.56 rounds etc. Its amazing stuff. So dont try to brag about your military, cuz lets face it, here in the U.S. its the best in the world *feels all patriotic*

Actually sneaky.. IIRC the Marine Corps no longer allows the use of Dragon Skin.

Canada has the Leopard 2 while the US has the M1A2 Abrams (Not the A1)

Between the LEO and the Abrams, it would be a close fight and a number of variable would affect it's outcome.


You have to remember, each country buys/builds it's military equipment to match it's style of fighting. The US style of fighting is combined arms, and the M1A2 is built to share info VERY quickly on the battlefield.

When in combat, CAS, CAP, and all other combined arms assets won't be too far off. It will never be a tank on tank situation.
