I can't remember the last time we had a discussion of this topic. Anyone have any favorites?

My current fav

I just purchased

Not the greatest.

Also, Roundy's brand generic hot sauce isn't that bad all things considering, only 99 cents too.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

MBro, I LOVE that stuff. So good on pizza.

I love hot sauce. This stuff is really good.

Has a flavor that is pretty different from most Louisiana-style hot sauces.

Franks red-hot is the best in the world for fried foods like deep-fried mac and cheese.

Tabasco is better for things that need an acidic counterbalance. Potatoes, and other bland foods.

QFT. There's a bar we go to that has fried mac and cheese. So good with some ranch and Franks.

I'm a fan of franks, aswell as alot of others. But what ticks me off beyond belief is when a restaurant will put franks of their wings. ANYONE can do that, its not special, it just really really sucks. It disgusts me.

What do you think original Buffalo wings had on them? Franks and butter...

Well in that case, youve changed my mind. The original buffalo wings had it on them, damn I must be stupid not to like it.

"Traditional Buffalo style chicken wing sauce is composed of two ingredients: a vinegar-based cayenne pepper hot sauce and margarine or butter."  -Wiki

I just dont see the point in buying wings I could make for a heck of alot less. Same with burgers in my area, alot of places sell a burger for $7-$8 and a case of the same burger goes 24  or $25.

Fat kid sauces, made by a guy i worked with over the summer on long island. Hes got a Mango-Kiwi habanero sauce that is delicious. I dont really like the generic franks/tabasco/more common hot sauces for some reason. They just all have no character.

And daves ultimate insanity sauce is pretty tasty too.

Yes, that stuff is insane. My Brother in law has that in his house and made me try it one day. I am no slouch to the world of spicey food, but DAMN! was that stuff hot.

The sudden death kind isn't to shabby either.

Cholula!.

I always swipe a bottle every time I am in a Mexican restaurant. I like to think I am part of the reason that Don Pablos went out of business.

Then don't. Eating food out has a huge mark-up, it's how they make their money. You can buy a pound of pasta for 2 dollars and make sauce for like 5 bucks and feed a few people, or eat at a restaurant and have a bowl for $15. Your paying to be served and not have to cook. If you don't like it, make your own food or go to McDonalds.

Rough edit. It has a few f-bombs on the bottle. I picked it up in New Orleans.

Well.... I dont and I thought they made their money off advertising? I go to restaurants for somthing  unique, not somthing that tastes the same at my house.

When I get wings I expect something unique like a different sauce or breading. When I order a burger I like to have some homemade seasoned ground beef, not a frozen, dime a dozen patty that only has different toppings to make it stand out.

I dont know, clearly im missing something.
