I'm a civilian but I'm in the Army's ROTC program, so I'm future military. I voted myself civilian, because I'm not in yet.

The experience will change some of you and maybe you'll get a better view about life.  You will know how important TEAMWORK and RESPECT can be when in the military.  Good luck and I salute you guys.  U.S. Navy 8 years honorable discharge.

Former Army here. Cavalry Scout (19D). Trouble is, my battalion commander seemed to think us Scouts were more "live bait" than "intel gatherers". Yikes.

There are alot of Walter Mitty's out there, former cub scouts that tell people that they were "Seals" or "Delta Force".

FWIW, I'm former Army, 91A and then 18D for those in the know.
