so i start bright and early tomorrow morning...well not really, its kind of mid morning early afternoon..either way ive never actually driven a car before in my life...any tips? any real tips...i already know the standard, hit the gas and slam the breaks hard. thanks |

17....i know, its a little old, but my dad doesnt feel like paying for my insurance bc it would be too high...long story either way, i just dont want to be the idiot in the car...although i probably will be anyway |

Since I took driving lessons at my school and got my permit through there I saved money on car insurance... |

same here, i just went to the dmv, took the written test, had my permit for 2 months, went back and took the road test and got my license. |

It's not as hard as parents and instructors make it seem.
After you start driving without any adults in yout car, it's a lot more relaxed and easier. Also, never rely on other drivers to do their job.. they dont always do it. If they screw up, you have to be prepared. |

wow, your drivers ed teacher is going to like you....
I already knew how to drive, so we just drove around for an hour and talked. He straight up told me that he liked ending the day with me, cause I actually knew what I was doing. |
