I personally think Officer Brotemarkle is in the wrong.  This really isn't the first time he's been investigated for questionable behavior.  I can go into more detail about this, but lets just talk about the article right now.

You know, I felt sorry for her until the part where she says it was because she's black. Seriously, shut up. It wasn't because you're black you idiot. Wait, wait. Am I racist now for calling a black person an idiot ? I mean I didn't call any white people idiots in my post, must be because she was black.

Also, unsafe because he is aggressive ? So ok, get rid of the cop, and let the kids beat each other. Thats safe right ?

Well judging by what I saw in the video, the girls who were thrown to the ground, were thrown because they were fighting and couldn't be put down any other way, and the girl in the black hoodie/jacket with silver spots on it, was trying to run away when her arm was grabbed and she was put down and into handcuffs, so I'm going to say he did his job.

As to the comment made by one of the girls saying 'I was thrown down because I'm black, there were white girls standing there that weren't thrown down', from what I saw, the people who were thrown down were doing something hostile, the 'white girls' were just standing there, not harming anything. As to the girl who was trying to help, I'm going to assume that she was in it so they saw her at the fight grabbing at people and assumed she just sucked at fighting so she was grabbed, but I could be wrong.

Yeah...  based on the video the cop doesn't seem out of line to me, but if there is a history here that might be different.

Always difficult to judge these in a vacuum.

Yes because never before in the history of law enforcement has a cop treated a  person unfairly just because they are black.

There was a full out BRAWL at the end of last year. Im talking 6 or 7 fights happening at once in the same area. School got locked down cops came .

Now we have on-campus cops :(

Just watched the video.

I could see why the cop did that, first I had only read the article. When he came over the girl in yellow had her arms locked with some other girl who you can see hit her. So the cop figures the two of them were fighting so he just tore them about. No big deal.

Also, person filming = stereotypical in ways.

yea... chick was in the fight regardless of intentions the "right" thing to do is stay out of it. she got slammed for being stupid. shes also far to fat to have a future in basketball.
