I know ILP will have a field day with this thread, but whatever...

As many of you know I was looking forward to the movies tonight... one word, Taylor.
Well, that all changed around 6:30.

I had called her at 1 to see if she still wanted to go to the movies.. no answer.
She calls back around 5:30, I didn' answer becasue I was talking to my manager...

But, at 6:30 when I was done with work I call and she answers.
The usual "What up, how you doing" ensued.

Well, I asked if she still wanted to hang out tonight.

She said, and I quote "I'd like to but I can't, parents are making me go to this bonfire thing, and I already went the the movies today"
I reply "That's cool"

I get the L on cool out and she goes "Ya... my boyfriend took me"

Wow... shot down.

And this whole week she was giving me clear signals "Wanna hang out?" "I'd love to, how about saturday?"

Ho hum...

Well, That I really don't know.

I mean, she did flirt with me a lot.. and she did say she wanted to go to the movies with me.

But hey wouldn't be the first time I've read signals wrong... and she IS a little out of my leage...

Talked to one of my other (girl)friends about it and she said
"That means umm, you were kinda her back up, cause she really wanted to go out with the bf, but if she couldn't she'd be excited to go out anyway. She was excited to hang out with you but you are second best to some other ass. But if you're high enough on the friends list, you could quite possibly be next on the "to (have sex with) list"
