I have a tippmann 68 (not pro/carbine) and was wondering if it would be better to upgrade it (if so, with what?) or go for the A5?

Go for the A-5 MOST DEFINETLY, but still hang on to the 68.

Well, if your going to be getting the A-5, you should get a new barrel. The Lapco Bigshot, SmartParts Teardrop and J&J Ceramic perform well. If you want nitro then Crossfire and Nitro Duck make reliable tanks. Otherwise get a expansion chamber or a remote line to help with liquid CO2. The R/T is a cheaper source for a higher ROF. The E-Grip is a bit more pricey but a more controllable way to increace ROF. Hope it helps!

By "Tippmann 68", do you mean a 68 Special?  If it is, hang on to that puppy!  I'm looking to find one for myself as a collector's item!  It was the first semi-auto I ever went up against when I first started playing.

He means a 68-carbine.

Keep it and mack it out. Nothing beats owning the people that pick on carbines.

I assumed it was a 68-Special since he said the marker was older than he was.

Enos, I mean special.  This one's at least 15 years old, according to my dad, and that model came out long before that, as far as I know.

WhiteKnight, that's what I was thinking too.

This is off topic, but how do you put a picture into your sig?  Does it have to be on a web site?
