Ok one of my friends just recently told me that she never reallied planned for her future because she never thought she would have one. She told me she had considered suicide until very recently. Most of the problems are normal for teenagers. School & stuff like that but i need your help because there is one thing i cant help her with. Her x bf as she told me was one of the major reasons she considered it. He has hurt her several times & made her some what dependent on him. I have tried to get between them and make him leave her alone but it doesnt work. If any of u have advice i would like it plz.

Sorry to hear that your in a problem like this. What I would do is to try to do things with your friend, maybe paintball, movies, anything to get her mind off her X-BF. I would also stand up for her from her boyfriend. Other then that I don't really know, sorry I couldn't help much.

Knowing me, if I was really good friends with her I'd beat the piss out of her ex-boyfriend...but that's probably not the best way of going aboot doing it

One option (most rational) is to get her to get a restraining order (If he wont stop harrasing her).  it will kick him out of the school, and hopefully help her.  Speak to your counsoler and have her do the same.

I contemplated suicide for a little while.  Then I found God and life is better.  Just take them to church and stuff.  I swear it works.  Once you devote your life to him, nothing else seems the same.

Heh. suicie is for the weak. I never considered suicide. Sure, life sucks at times, but it has to get better, no matter how bad it gets. just live through it and grow a pair.

talk to the school counselor, and if he/she doesn't do anything goto your parents or even the police,

that is a sad situation, but what ever you do if, do something, the worst thing is to just ignore it, if you do, you might lose a friend.

see you never considered it...its not an easy thing to deal with its alot harder than one thinks only reason im still here is because when i think about it i think about how it would effect the people around me and i cant go though with it...

let her know you care about her and she can call you if she needs anything. then try and show her the bad things about the guy but dont push it too hard or she will get defencive. just hint gently and let her mind do the work. dont threaten him yet any agressive action towards him may get you in trubble with her. something will happen and just make sure your there to catch her.
