you DON'T GET IT.  Ben Tippmann Designs and Tippmann Pneumatics are two seperate companies.  Ben Tippmann worked for Tippmann Pneumatics, and later left the company, essentially stealing a whole bunch of the designs to go make his own line of guns.

If you want to argue, you can go read THIS first.

Be careful what you say here, especially when you're new.  The people on these forums know Tippmann well.

No, it's really not, a few years back they were in a legal battle about designs, they are not the same company, and BT will never reach the quality or performance of Tippmann Pneumatics. Sure, you can switch parts, only because BT is a lowlife who stole design ideas because he couldn't think of any himself.

bt<<<<<<<<tippmann.

bt = benjamin tippmann, dennis tippmann's (the founder of tippmann pneumatics) nephew. they were in a massive legal battle over the rights of design ideas or something like that. the reason bt's are like tippmanns is because he jacked the ideas. thats one reason why we arent too crazy about them. another is quality. becuase you can switch parts, does not make the gun more reliable than tippmanns. my local field rents out bt's, and all of the staff says they suck. there is always a big pile of guns that need to be repaired over at the repair area. they are not worth it. they are cheap, crappy guns that wish they could be 98c's.

BT is not the same thing as Tippmann!!!!!! call Tippmann and ask. BT markers are low quality and assembled by retarted children in some third world country. Out of the 15 that my friend sold he had 10 come back to him and i had to spend hours replacing the screws that hold the front shroud and ball detent in. Also i saw a lot of barrels with major flaws inside them, flaws that would prevent them from being even remotely usable. The company was not the easyest to deal with either, they would not send any dealer drop boxes so every time we had a barrel that sucked we had to ship each one individualy so there was reletivily no profit made of selling those markers. My friend has since stopped carrying the BT line and he allways has kids come to buy Tippmann upgrades, opening them throwing out the packaging and then bringing them back because they wont fit on their BT markers. I dont know how Ben Tippmann doesnt get sued by Tippmann Pnuematics
