I've written some lame slot machine and blackjack type games in C++ that run in command prompt. Those were definately free.

Enemy territory for some online action, the original Command and conquer games if you like RTS. I had both and the expansion pack on a laptop bought in 01.

SWON is pretty fun. If you have a good joystick its even better.

It feels pretty rewarding strafing the decks of Japanesse aircraft carriers and destroying the Zeros before they get a chance to get in the air and fight back. Or being a key player in American POW's escape by destroying the gates and guard towers of the enemy camps. Or cutting off Nazi tank divisions by bombing bridges. I could go on and on. The game is simply amazing in my opinion. The ending is a bit over the top though. I don't like the whole "boss" battles in games like this.

Yep.

I actually bought SWON in a bundle pack at Wal-Mart. It came with MOH:AA, MOH: Pacific Assult, and Battlefield 1942. The whole kit was like, 20 bucks.

When I legit buy video games, I buy from Wal-Mart. Discount isle FTW.
