Help me with my girl problems!

I have a very serious problem. I'm freakin' crying because of how stupid I am.

Okay, so my girlfriend was supposed to come over to my house today because I was going to go take her to a movie. She lives about 20 minutes away, and the movie we were supposed to see started at 4:15, which was in about 40 minutes. I figured "cool, I'll just play Pokemon while I wait".

So I'm playing Pokemon, and having a pretty damn good time. Anyway, she finally does show up, except she's crying as she walks into my room. Instead of doing the right thing by comforting her, I half-focus on my game and her. She starts
telling me her cat died, and just as she was getting into it, I get into a random encounter in my game.

A shiny pidgey. OMG. (For those of you who don't know/care, shiny pokemon have less than a 1/1000 chance of appearing). I stare into my screen in amazement, yelling "YES", interrupting her mid-story. She sobs more, and she starts to yell "You don't even freaking care! YOU JUST WANT TO PLAY YOUR FREAKING GAME!" I'm still looking at my screen, still focusing on catching my shiny pidgey, when she walks over, and tosses the game against the wall. I run over and pick up my DS hoping that nothing has changed on screen, and quickly noticed that she broke it. My system and my shiny pidgey, gone forever.

I start screaming every obsenity I know, and started flailing my arms around. I didn't know she was behind me, and appearantly I backhanded her in the face while I was being a dumbass and swinging my fists around. She yells out "I HATE YOU", and runs out of my house in tears.

What have I done? I screwed up so badly, and I need to know how to approach her. I don't want a game of Pokemon to be respoinsible for ruining my best relationship ever. Help me!!!

I'm so against having a "girl friend" when your young. I say date as many girls as possible till you find the one later in life (after school, say in your mid-upper 20's) that you may marry.

Don't tie yourself down when your young!! Get as much booty as you can because once your married and see some hot women you cant touch that!!

So what I am saying is o well she will get over it, if she doesn't too bad there are more fish in the sea.

I guess you really never did care for her...  I mean honestly, you chose pokemon over a girl?  I know some people(very immature people) would but seriously...  Was it soooo important your game couldn't wait just 5sec?  I mean, 1/1000 is hard odds but... "IT'S A FREAKING GAME!"  Women are Emotional Time Bombs that go off at any time and if you have a shred of attachment to her  just stop what your doing and look them in the eyes, you don't even have to really listen, some times my G/F will go off all I have to do is sit down look at her and just agree/disagree sometimes and after she is done she just sits next to me and lets me hold and says "thanx for listening"   honestly... as long as you put your women first, you hardley ever argue with them... sure it may be a way of wussing out, but heh, I'd rather put my Game on pause then wait 5min then have my G/F scream at me for the next 5 days.


Next time...  pause it, sit down in front of her and listen or just 1/2 listen, then after she is done "venting" hold her and Everything is smooth sailing and after the whole emotional mess is over... unpause your game, if it is sooo hard to turn it off or pause... Maybe your best companion will be your left and right hand for the rest of your life...  and I mean  Pokemon...  seriously.       Sex > pokemon

Hope she had a pre-nup or K-Fed is going to totally suceed beyond his wildest dreams in getting super rich with absolutly no effort or talent.

On the downside, living with him and having two kids have aged her beyond her years. k-fed needed to get off britney and back on the couch.
