Good thing you are getting HPA, because the cocker's three way would definately leak if you used co2.

Nah, sorry. I only buy stuff. I try to avoid selling on eBay when I have the choice, it costs too much. |

Really if you sell on pbnation, youll be getting close to what you get on ebay sometimes.... people there arent as stupid as some people on Ebay. Just take good pictures, dont spell words wrong(i hate people who spell like 10 words wrong and cant even get the name of the gun right), and tell them what you want. But if its an electronic gun your selling, good luck. Theres so many out there, when you "up" a thread, its only up for like 5 minutes, then its to the next page for you |

yeah i have some experience of selling on the nation now (selling warhammer) um.... if i get a tank this christmas..... i need it to work on my pcs as well as my next gun (most likely karnivore) I mean this all in high pressure/low pressure. i read here that pmi is one of the best companies can someone pick a good hpa tank for me that will work with both: |

i don't understand though because this tank is $170: PMI Pure Energy Low Pressure Fixed N2 Tank - 88ci 4500psi and this one is $190: PMI Pure Energy Fixed Low Pressure N2 Tank - 45ci 4500psi wouldn't the first one be much better.... why is it less money then? and why is a company like empire soooo much more expensive? are they better tanks? Both of those are LP tanks, mang. You would need an HP one, because of your PCS. Here: http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/S tore/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=3woMPK_ljC oM0uqVNATMlKUsYPnUpi5U3N8=?ProductID=OkusFAY76rwAAAD372OlA_2 t And no, I'm not sure why the tanks are all different prices. Just make sure the tank you buy is a 5 year hydro. PMI tanks are not bad, and will work just fine. PEople pay more for lighter regs, and delusions of much better performance. I used my old PMI 68/4500 LP with my Fly a couple weeks ago (conquest needed a rebuild) and it worked great. |

so will low pressure not work at all with my pcs? what does a karnivore take?
and what's this where some tanks say they are co2 threading. will i have to buy a new asa for my pcs to run the pmi that says nothing about what threading it is? |

No. Either. Screw in HPA tanks are threaded the same as a C02 tank. |

so is there an adaptor to make a low tank work as high? what are the advantages/disadvantages of using high or low pressure on a gun like a karni? and this will work for both and is high pressure right? (it says 850 psi) Edited by carl_the_sniper - 02 December 2006 at 1:15am |

No... None really. In theory the LP output is more consistent because the difference berween input and output is closer to each other, but also in theory HP tanks are less prone to shootdown. Don't worry about it; just get HP. Yes. |

Man, I'm gonna lawl when you get your cocker and you start askin questions. Shootdown is when the air input cannot keep up with the gun, and your first shots in a string may be 300, but as the string goes on your FPS drops. If you wait a second or two and get back on it, you'll be at 300 again, but when you outrun the tanks ability to feed air, you will get shootdown. FSDO, or first shot dropoff, is related to dropoff but not related to the tank. Poor gun settings or dry bolt/dynamic o-rings (if applicable) can cause FSDO. FSDO is characterized by the first shot being a much lower velocity than the proceeding shots. Many newer boards (especially on spoolers) have ABS or anti bolt stick settings. These increase dwell time by x when the gun has been sitting for y seconds. This extra push helps overcome the stickiness of the first shot, but if not set properly it can result in the first shot being too high.
