Well i want a new gun.

i am thinking of getting into speedball.

I want an electro gun that i can buy for 300-400 (not an ion)

Preferably one that will also work with co2.

What marker do you recomend?

Do i have a chance of this? if not my plan is to buy a vs3 or maybe... maybe an ion.

Mech 'cocker? Properly tuned, they can shoot quite fast.

New or used? It sounds like you've been searchin' in all the wrong places.

Action Village USA

I don't know what the Canadian Action Village has. I've got this 'cocker, and love it.

On second thought, you don't want a 'cocker. It's your best choice, but you need to know about them to use them. If you're still interested in learning, then search for some info. There's plenty of 'cocker topics on these forums. To answer your questions, aside from a tuned RT Mag, they are some of the fastest mechs. And yes, they can be electric. Heard of the E-Blade?

Also, I'm kinda sad you asked about upgrades. Autocockers are some of the most upgradable paintball guns out there...

Mech, no. But if you get an E-Blade in the future, then definately.

It's completely adjustible. You can have a very delicate pull depending on how shallow/deep you set your lug (which adjusts the sear).

Planet Eclipse stopped making them, so you can only get them used. Look on PBnation/eBay. They probably will average $150-$250 depending on condition.

'Cockers require a lot of maintainence. You have to know to keep them timed. I will say though, Worr Games Products does a great job of timing their markers before selling them. And the normally stay in time pretty well. 'Cockers are a LOT more complex than a Tippy or a Spyder, though, so be prepared to learn.

no money for hpa if i buy a gun

i will switch eventually but for now...

and if i were to spend 150-250 on an eblade would i not be better off just buying this:

http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/S tore/en/-/USD/DisplayProductInformation-Start;sid=07DDJB76tx DDTFulPboDjBQudvB2-ComSBE=?ProductID=yejAqArbzRMAAAEGhhHbl6i J#

and i know you aren't gona like this question but... what do you mean by timed?

maybe i can talk my parents into letting me sell my current gun.... there will be lots of fights but... probably

The whole point of buying a cheaper mech cocker is so you can use C02 with it, at least initially. Electrics, you cannot. So if you get the BM, you'll need HPA too.

It's debatable. Black Magics are nice guns, but I've heard the E-Blades were better than WGP's SF frames. Plus, you can get a nice used e-cocker for ~$250 now. That's a cocker's main downfall, their resale value sucks, depending on how nice it is.

E-Cockers (any cocker with an e-frame) usually has electronic timing. Timing is where you adjust the pneumatics to keep you gun in optimal firing condition. This needs to be done every so often, say after every other month. Mech cockers need to mechanically timed. When you figure it out, it's easy.

The internals are fine for normal use. There is a bunch of hammer/spring/valve combinations out there, so when you get it, just figure out what you don't like about it, and change it.

You shouldn't. With a cocker, you can go from pump to mech in just a few minutes. Or even pump to electro in maybe a few minutes more, so a cocker can suit any style of play. Also, they are really efficient and are pretty dang quiet. I have no idea why their resale is so low...
