Hey you guys, I am stuck in a rut, even after the Jack in the Box guy told me about his new breakfast. I don't know what kind of car to get. I am looking for a nice affordable sports car(Under $20,000), and I don't have any good ideas. So can you guys please give me some ideas on what kind of cool cars there are out there?

that would be a ripoff and a half.  You could get a car in that range for way less than that.  Our tercel was like, 5k.

Heh.

You are 16. 1) You should stay far away from sports cars and 2) Drop that price by about half.

Look for a nice used sedan or small pickup.

Buy used, and buy cheap. It is your first car, it is going to take some damage. It is going to get roughed up. It will also keep insurance down.

Look at used Toyotas.  Affordable, and very reliable.

Yea, I have a 1994 Toyota Tacoma, 4cyl, 4x4, 4inches of lift and 33's, It was 3500 bucks and it runs great, IMO, off road is funner than going a hundred mph and alot safer too.

Find yourself a nice earlier model toyota for dirt cheap with 4X4 and a stick shift. Lots of fun to be had and pretty much go with what savage said.

if youre looking for a car, stay away from sports cars unless your parents are paying for stuff.  If that's the case, I would definitely check out a 2000ish Firebird WS-6.  My friend has one, it's rediculous.

If you'd like to step back to reality, something sporty, quick, and affordable, gas wise too, a VW GTI, or maybe a Jetta turbo

6 cyl. Mustang. Looks good, upgradable, affordable and insurance won't butt rape you.

Sorry to counter everything the Euro-weenies are saying (), but I've been reading that VW, BMW, and Mercedes' quality is plummeting. The motors may be peppy, but they are falling apart piece by piece. Just a bit of warning...
