Honestly, how the hell is bud light america's number one selling beer.

It tastes like crap. I'd rather drink keystone light.......

There are so many beers that taste better and are even cheaper. What the hell america?

-----

I say this because someone left a case of budlight at my house after our new years party and the roomates and I drank a few laste night, all coming to the same conclusion. It's crap.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

America has a lot of good beers, it's just the major name brand light ones that suck.

Not bad and cheap.

By not bad I mean I can afford to just get drunk off of it without cringing with every sip. If I want something I'll enjoy just for the sake of drinkng a beer I'd get something else. But when I want to get drunk PBR does an amazing job.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Miller Genuine Draft is the way to go, in my opinion.
I also like Miller Lite, but there's just something about MGD.
I can tolerate Bud, but that's probably because it's what just about everyone buys at parties, which is the only place I go to drink.

Now if you want some crazy, full-flavored beer, try IPI (don't remember what that stands for). It's like 10.5% and it's pretty good if you like a strong, thick beer.

To agree with MBro, America creates plenty of good beer, and a few great beers, it's just Bud that blows.

Oh I deffinitly agree, but the big name ones kind of ruin the image of american beer unfortunately.

Actually, I really agree. I deffinitly thought MGD was going to be another beer along the lines of bud, but was pleasently surprised. I will (and do) order it willingly on occasion.

I hate miller light. I'm not a big fan of mgd but I can stand it.

I think it's that I just don't like most of the major american brews. Let's just say I'm quite thankful for the mircobrew revolution that took place in the late 80's early 90's.

I enjoy lagers the most. But I also enjoy ales, pale ales, and some wheat beers. I just hate the light piss water.

Sam Adams for the american win btw.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Agreed. I'm bringing some Yukon Brewing Co. Beer back to university.

I bought a case of it a few months back because it was on sale for $9 for a 30 pack and I just wanted something to play beer pong with. It took me three weeks to get rid of.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

I could drink no more than three cans of that bile before becoming violently ill.

Go with Colt .45 if you want something cheap.  It's actually not too bad.

We sell many more kegs of Bud Light than any other beer.

And mbro, the answer to why it is the number one selling beer, marketing.
