Potato-Paint Gun *Pics*

Well, here is a picture of my paintball gun a friend and I put together over the weekend.  Though this is a stupid idea, and will not go far at all, we have decided to put a piece of mesh into the barrel and fill it with paintballs.  After we fire it off, we are hoping that the balls will spread out to achieve a shotgun-like blast.






P.S. To shoot this gun, you:
1. Jam potato (or whatever, zucchinis work well) into the barrel with the end part of a broom or whatnot so that it is firm and 4/5 down the in there.
2. spray a generous amount (4-5 seconds) of hairspray into the end peice)
3. Shut the bottom tightly by turning the end cap with the threads.
4. Press down on the red ignitor and Boom!

You should have gone with pneumatic. I have mine sitting in my shop with a 3" wide barrel I still have yet to try out as like a "riot tamer" sort of unit. Pneumatic is so much nicer then combustion too. No misfires, pretty much free to operate, and in my opinion, safer.

Combustion are more fun and such but a field wont let you use a combustion and if i got shot with a potatoe id kick ur a$$.

Ya good idea but a field won't let you use it not only because it's combustion but you can't regulate how fast it shoots. But it is deffinately a fun thing to mess with.

Well a combistion powered potatoe gun would fire a plume of flame, and have no way to control the FPS. The C-3 is a fully funcitonal, safe paintball gun, with velocity control and internal cumbustion, big difference then firing a ball of fire out.

Shoot a metal wall if you have it. If the shots go through and the wall was in good condition before that, don't shoot it at people.
