Like that will stop them. Besides, does the rule say only BEFORE playoff games?  Joe-Louis outlawed bringing them in long ago, but that doesn't stop people. 

EDIT: Hey, Dear NHL.  Haven't you done enough to ruin hockey since the strike already?

All I have to say is that I'm glad the Caps finally found their game again.....

Octopi? That's nothing.... If we make it further in the playoffs, I'll throw Nancy Pelosi on the ice.... now THAT is an ugly cephalopod.....

Good, I hate the Red Wings anyways. However, a $10,000 fine isn't going to stop them from doing it. Anyways, who cares? Hockey has sucked ever since the strike.
