sorry about this thread not being about a tippmann but i cant get help on the kingman forum. its about a spyder xtra. my xtra doesnt recock after i shoot and the ball only goes about 20 feet maybe 30.i tried adjusting the velocity but it didnt help. oh and its an old 2003 rear cocking one.

thats because most tippmann people know how to fix practically every gun...

and try checking the internals or something like that....might have to replace a spring or something

i know it isnt o rings because i alredy replaced them all. any ideas?

Have you had it chronoed? Do you know what velocity it was shooting at?

When was the last time you broke it down and oiled it? Have you checked to see if all your o-rings are intact.

i took it apart about a week ago and oiled and i replaced the orings about 4 months ago because i bought it broken about 7 months ago and i never really used it so the replacements cant be worn. ive been trying to fix ever since i bought it

what would it look like if the spring is bad. it was a little bent but i straightined it out.

ok the spring is really bad. i just took it out and its bent in two places so would a spring of about the same size from a hardware store work. oh and could any one post a pic of the right order of the spring, the star disc thing and white platic thing go in.

go to a proshop and get a new spring.  that way it is the right tension and size.
Stay low, run fast, and hope that paintball doesn't hit your...
