Mother of Gawd. Doc gets furrier and furrier each day...

Have you ever thought about what kind of pictures he draws his characters in that he doesn't post on the intertubez? He kinda scares me. Check out his latest few "works."

I started a long time ago. Now it's just on my list of webcomics that amuse me enough to check the updates. Besides. I see nothing wrong with paintball webcomics. Especially ones with neckid female humanoid snow leopards and foxes.

The whiteboard is the only webcomic I read and I love it. These latest ones are building up pretty good for him to either wake up or figure out he got tricked by everyone.

www.the-whiteboard.com

It starts a few days back, so hit "previous" a few times. However, the latest comic should have non-followers going "Dubya tee eff, mate?"

Edit: If this constitutes as "not forum appropriate," I'll delete it.

-Virtually none at all. I have a few very rough sketches, typically showing how I wanted a particular gag or scene to look (usually when the action is heavily exaggerated- somebody getting hit with a mallet, etc.) but that's pretty much it.

There's also a lot of sketches I did for fans, in the backs of the various books- I've ended up using quite a few of these as "filler" strips: like this, this and this.

Basically, with very few exceptions, if it's not posted on TWB somewhere, I haven't drawn it. I barely have the free time to draw the strip itself as it is.

Doc.

-I've lurked a lot of places. But this thread I saw in my page stats. :D

E-mail me your address, I'll be happy to send you some stickers.

-Wasn't my intention to put anyone down, I just thought I'd clear the air a bit. It actually sounds like Det is something of a fan.

Sad fact is, the "furry" genre` does indeed have some... baggage associated with it. Had I known just how bad it was, or how bad it's gotten, I probably wouldn't have used 'anthro' characters in the first place...

Unfortunately, it seems that, if you draw a "furry" character, some people just assume you're a capital-F Furry. I'm regularly asked if I've joined DeviantArt (I haven't) or if I'm a member of FurAffinity (I'm not) or if I have an "adult" gallery somewhere (I don't.)

The simple fact is, I'm a machinist first and foremost, and in my all-too-rare spare time, I occasionally draw a comic strip. Some of my readers are, however, capital-F Furries, and I'll occasionally throw them some "fan service", like this week.

Next week we'll be back to the paintball and blowing stuff up (but not at the same time. :D )

-According to my page stats, between 10,000 and 20,000 people a day do.

Last Wednesday (the first "cheesecake" scene) there were almost 40,000 pageviews- that's not far off of the total circulation of APG Magazine (about 50K last I heard.)

By readership numbers, TWB is in the top fifty or sixty webcomics- and there's something like eleven thousand webcomics out there.

Not to brag or anything.

Doc.

I work on the Web myself. Not half bad page views, considering I am lucky to push 15,000 on a slow news day.

You should try to work paintballchat.org into a webcomic    In a positive light of course, but with your numbers, we sure could use the traffic
