There were many many points you used that discredited you, but I chose to go with this one. You clearly just don't know what you're talking about Linus.

Seeing as it's just as illegal to be drunk as it is to be high, I'd like to see that.

i lol'd.

I'm sure FE also has no problem wearing clothing that combines types of cloth. That's a no-no. I bet that devil worshipper is probably ok with growing more than one kind of crop in the same field.

Very true.

"E Pluribus Unum" does not mean "Every man for himself".

Legal or not weed helps the economy.

Please note, cannabis isn't just marijuana. It's hemp too, which I fully agree should be utilized more. It's an extremely versatile plant that got blacklisted for unfortunate reasons, especially considering you cant get high from hemp.

Linus I like you entirely too much to say how I feel about that post on page 4 bro.

That being the case, I'm going to be way nicer to you than most LOL

As far as pot being addictive, I can name two people that are pretty close to me who just quit smoking pot, one after four years of heavy use, one who was actually a seller who quit after three years of heavy use. Neither of them experienced any form of withdrawal, other than just wanting to smoke.

I myself quit after a year or so of near daily use, and again, no problem.

As far as proven health benefit of alcohol, c'mon bro you're an EMT...you gotta know what alcohol does to people. My dad barely has a liver from alcohol use, thankfully he quit before I was born. I've thrown up blood from late night everclear sessions, alcohol is far more detrimental and dangerous to your body, and moreover for the public, than weed.

And the point of drinking is according to the drinker. I'd be willing to say if you think that the point of drinking is to get buzzed, you've never been around an alcoholic. Besides, a drunk is just a buzz in overdrive.

There is NO ground for the criminilization of weed, other than pure red tape and greedy government who can't tax it.. Otherwise if weed goes, cigarrettes and alcohol should go too. Recreation is recreation.

Strato, as is often said in the health care field; Everything is ok in moderation, except smoking.

If you drink 1 glass of wine a day, for 72 years, you will not develop liver problems from drinking. Yes, alcohol is addictive to certain people. Not denying that. I have never denied the bad aspects to alcohol, or any other drug for that matter.

As for the addiction, like I stated before, it has a much lower addiction rate, but it still exist. Not so much a physical addiction, but more of a psychological one, same as sex with sex addicts. Some people just have addictive personalities. I myself have a very addictive personality, which is why I will never go near drugs because I doubt I'd be able to quit.

My brother, who started off with pot, and then moved on to the more hardcore drugs, disappeared for 2 years. One day out of the blue, he came back. He says marijuana is addicting, and I'll take his word over any pro-legalization persons word on the matter any day. He has no reason to lie, while the legalization crowd does.

I have seen what drugs, marijuana in particular, does to people other then my brother. It's not a good thing. Alcohol isn't much better, but that's not an excuse to legalize marijuana.

PS-- Come get your damn balloon! Do you know where the Hobby Lobby is on Wilshire?

Linus, Marijuana users can form psychological addictions. Unlike alcohol, it is not physically addicting in any way.

Actually, I not once mentioned that marijuana was a gateway drug in any of my post, and never even alluded to it.

"My brother, who started off with pot, and then moved on to the more hardcore drugs, disappeared for 2 years."

While maybe not intentional, this alluded to the gateway theory (IMHO)
