Cyclone feeder.

ACT doesn't feed paintballs, whereas an A5 does. A properly feeding Cyclone on a 98/X7/A5 will feed flawlessly with good paint. ACT may just not chop.

The ACT, simply helps to keep you from chopping paint, but does not make the marker feed any faster. If you have a marker capable of more than 5-6 bps, you will have to upgrade to a cyclone or electronic hopper.

Of course you can add a Cyclone to a model 98 as well.

It's not really a comparable choice. Perhaps more information about your set up and playing style would help someone make a more informed suggestion for you.

I would choose a Cyclone over ACT. I have an older non-ACT 98C and I am happy with a cyclone.

Had an ACT-equipped marker and didn't like it.  Have cyclone-equipped markers and do like them.

Cyclone all the way.
