I am distraught that HBO's Game of Thrones is coming back before the next book is out.

^^^ I don't know what I was expecting from Disturbed, but that was certainly better than I was expecting.

Couldn't be bothered to find if I posted in this before but I must honestly say I doubt anything has changed.

Music: some contemporary music but mostly 80s or Golden Oldies.
Book: David Eddings. Just done the Mallorean and his other series, on to Belgarath the Sorcerer and Polgara the Sorceress. Read them before but felt like it again.
Games: Mass Effect. Just done ME1, ME2 and half way through ME3 as a paragon Femshep. About half way through ME1 as a renegade. Just 'cos. Never actually finished 3.

I actually went out and played paintball today. First time in over two years.

My cleats and pants were fallin apart from the glue melting out in the attic, and I only played a few rounds, but 'twas nice to get back out there and got invited out to a charity tournament next weekend. Once I find good employment again, I'm going to try and at least get out there occasionally.

Currently Listening To: Pr0files (Good synthwave style band)
Currently Reading: Junkers by Benjamin Wallace. It's good. I started reading his "Duck and Cover Adventures" series which was REALLY good, and then read his "Everyday Crap" series which was funny for the first book, and then hilariously funny and good with the second book "Everyday Crap & Zombies."

I think Shameless is one of the best shows on TV right now, I never get tired of watching it.

I'm fairly certain I'm in some ways a 45 year old man in a 27 year old's body with an 80 year old's joints.

Pretty much the only things I watch on TV are sitcom reruns like How I met your Mother and TBBT, and just recently discovered Last Man Standing, because I have always been a huge fan of Tim Allen.

I am the most dad-esque person I know these days.

That show gets super dumb super fast.

I really dug the first season -- it was dark and clever in a way political shows rarely are. But the second season felt really derivative, and then by the time the third season came out, it had a fake Putin and long winding side plots about writers I didn't care about.

The latest season was an improvement, but that show jumped off the deep end in a bad way.
