Tippmann TPX with sleigh

Hi,
here my newest Project for the Winterpause !

First i can only Show you the main System of the sleigh mech, grab the movement of the bolt. The final one will be made of much better material for shure, it´s just a prototype to test the function and see where i Need space etc.

I think i go build the sleigh in Tippmannstyle(2frames) cause it would be hard to attach him and i also Need room(or a good idea) on the right side cause of fire valve Body and the detent. Also the one Piece sleigh is hard for me to form, less helping tools. So first i thought the catching mechanic will be the hardest part but now i´m schure the sleigh is much more work !!!

The sleigh will be not much higher than the sight (2mm is the stregh of the sleigh alu sheet metal)and not much deeper than the Barrel low high. So the look will be much better than on the demo pic !!!

Close to this one is my Goal, shure i can´t have the same dimensions cause Cal.68 is much bigger but so you have an idea of how it should look if i´m done:

I have cut the slide in two pieces(also makes it easier to form the sheetmetal), the left side is in final size so you will have a pretty good look at how it will be looking finished !!! Need to build also something for make the gripframe in front longer cause would look better too.

Getting Close to look like a Glock Cal.68, i think i go just brush the slide surface Looks good i think !!!

I like it, you going to paint the shells black?

So here i build d the slide Piece for the Barrel not 100% finished cause i Need to buy first some nuts and screws, the nuts will get fiberglased on top where you see the screws i put in for show !







Later i go drill some holes through the slide Shells to install them on ...

So i finished the slide return spring System pretty quick and simple !
Formed and filed some sheetmetal and used an old RC-Carspring.
So now you could already use it as fake slide but the Goal is a different but with boltcatcher you still do a fake loading !!!

OK i´m pretty Close to finish ! The catch mech is done but i Need to adjust some things cause it doesn´t slides well, cause form that Long sheetmetal with a vice is pretty ...

I go take it slow and enjoy the fiberglas free work !!!

OK i would say it´s done, cause the function is fine and the rest is just optic !!!
