RIP Tippmann Forum

Working from home, so I just finished mowing my lawn. Came in to check how to use the deck-wash system on my new Cub Cadet XT Enduro and figured I'd see if we were still live. Will be interesting to see what happens at midnight tonight.

I remember when I came here for my first post.  I was amazed at the responses I got in a very short period of time.  I think I'll miss that the most.  The community that was here to help with the most trivial paintball question.  As my mediocre experience grew, I got to help here and there myself.  I'll definitely miss this place.  I'll miss the debates.  I'll even miss the good and bad natured ribbing.  I'll miss everyone that made this place what it was.

Watch this all turn out to be a clever ploy to re-energize a dying forum.

I remember how busy this forum was around 2001-2002, at the end of Old Blue and the beginning of this forum. In T&O, posts with a timestamp of an hour ago were on Page 2. It was crazy. The random stuff that would get discussed. Was really amazing.

Great times.  This forum probably shaped who I turned into more than most would expect for a bunch of youngin's that came together randomly because of paintball.

Yes, it was pretty unique in the era of the internet before social media. I was on a few message boards for other topics, but none had quite the personality or activity level of this one.
