It's an A5 stock I modded to work with the X7. I looks different because I added a CAA stock saddle to it. |

Nauzerlvr, what barrel did you use on yours? [/QUOTE] It's the older Tippmann 14" "Sniper" barrel that's no longer available. |

I was PM'd about the stock mod. Here's how I did it.
Ok, I think I've got a viable solution to the stock problem. If anyone has a better idea, post it. As you can see in the photo below, there are differences between the two end caps of the X7 and the A5. The solution is a broom...or a rake like I used. Here's how. Cut off a piece, check your measurements and be precise. Make sure you make your cuts square and precise. Then attach the wooden piece to the stock you want to use. Use a good strong glue and let it dry well. Note that all measurements must be precise and the circumference of the wooden piece needs to be pretty darn close. A broomstick works very well. (If this isn't "Frankensteining" I don't know what is!!!! LOL) Add the small hole for the striker to countersink into, again, be precise and use the endcap from the X7 for all measurements. Good luck and I hope this helps. Nauz |
