Hi!
I have a Tippmann x7 with e-trigger.
When I start the e-trigger an pull the trigger I can hear the e-trigger working and I have no problem getting the full auto to work. But when I connect the CO2 itīs impossible to get the full auto to work.
I have tried resetting the e-trigger to factory default settings.
I have tried to shoot full auto with half a tank and full tank of CO2.
Any ideas on whatīs wrong and how to fix it??
Please help.
/Jimmy

Replace the battery. A lot of times the battery is strong enough to push the sear rod up, but not to trip it.. Make sure you replace it with a fresh battery, not one from the 7-11 up the road.

Are you cocking the marker prior to trying to fire?

Yes... i can shoot semi fire mode with CO2 connected but i canīt get the full auto going. Itīs really weird.
Iīm gonna try to replace the e-trigger with a friends e-trigger. And see if mine works on his x7 or if his e-trigger works on mine. If mine works on his x7 then I should be able to rule out the e-trigger right?

Do any of the other modes work? 3 shot burst etc.?  If your works on his marker, than it should eliminate the E-trigger as being the problem.

my e-trigger did not work on my friends x7, his e-trigger did work on mine.

Hey, I am having the same problem on my E grip for my A5. All of the other modes seem to be working but when I go full auto it doesn't shoot. I can hear the noid triggering and the rod moving inside the grip but its not firing. It just clicks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Welcome to the Forums.

The Tippmann X-7 and A-5 new E grips come with a "Safety" Full Auto. Which means that you have to pull the trigger 3 times quick to engage the Full Auto Mode. This is done to avoid accidental full auto fire.

Try pulling the trigger quickly about 3 times then Hold it down on the 3rd Pull. It should engage the Full Auto. Thou I recommend the Hyper mode which is it fires on the Trigger Pull and Release. Doubling your natural ROF and allowing you a more control; of your shot groups, burst and accuracy than holding down the trigger and hosing someone down.

I still have the same problem with my gun, and yes I know I should pull the trigger fast 3 times and hold it down och the third pull.
But I think I have located the problem Is there supposed to be a magnet or something in the safety??
Because I tried as a last resort to change the safety with my friend and then the e-grip worked again.
Does someone have a picture where I can se where the magnet is supposed to be on the safety and where the magnet is in the trigger??

Not with the factory board. You can upgrade to a A.P.E. or other aftermarket board that doesnt have the 3 pull safety feature.
