nitro should not make your gun run poorly. perhaps you needed to adjust the air flow going to the cyclone, since air is a different (and better) animal than CO2. If I remember correctly you had to get tippmann to send you an adjustment valve to hook to the cyclone.

the cyclone is an awesome invention. it turns everytime you pull the trigger...how much faster does it need to be? and NO BATTERIES!! that's the point. all mechanical..no boards frying, no batteries dying..

I ran air w/ better results than co2 on my old a-5 without any regulator besides the velocity adjustor.

If you notice the a-5 is meant to look somewhat like a military weapon. Tippmann produces a marker and sticks with it and pumps them out. Traditionally they are shooting for the wood/rec ballers as it is a huge market.

I have seen egrips rip like crazy. wht mess with a proven thing by trying to make it more complex/fragile by getting an eye system in a marker that is built like a tank?

the e-grip is made by tippmann. If some company wanted they could make an aftermarket grip that looks like "whatever" if they thought it would sell.

strange impulse is a mid-level marker...not bad by any means, but DM5,Timmy,angels..they are just in a different class.

anyways, tippmann doesnt need to compete with anybody, their markers are tried and true and sell like hotcakes. they have cornered their own market by people who want a solid marker at a reasonable price and don't care about BLING (ahem..spyders)


all in all it is a interesting idea, and I would not be surprised if someone mauled their A-5 and put eyes in it just to see if they could do it somewhere.

When you say that you have a strange impulse on the way, and it is one of the best guns out there? when you say best did you really mean tallest?
