ive heard that screwing the bottom hex (on the reg) all the in gets the pressure to 0, but i'm gassing it up for the first time and i don't wanna risk the noid. Is that true that screwing in the lower part of the regulater farther in DECREASES velocity?

Ions should be set at their correct operating pressure right out of the box. They are test fired when assembled.
